AFFIRM (Adolescent Females Finding Identity Respect and Merit), is a non-denominational half-day seminar for 6th – 8th grade girls and the significant adults in their lives. The program includes a multi-media performance, creative activities, and age-appropriate discussion groups to help the girls explore and make healthy decisions about who they are and who they wish to become. AFFIRM’s mission is to provide a safe place for girls of diverse backgrounds to discuss issues of common concern and to honor, celebrate and promote friendship among girls and the caring adults in their lives.
