The Furniture Hotline is a hotline to donate furniture to arriving new Americans, to help them get a good start and aid in their achievement of self-sufficiency. Each year we receive nearly one hundred phone calls from newly arrived Americans who are desperate for clean usable household furnishings. Matches are made between immigrants with needs and furniture contributed. This program began in 1991 as part of NCJW’s New American Resource Center.
