Books for Home is a literacy initiative that began in 2005 as a spin-off of the Stuff for School program. The program began by providing students in grades 1-3 with books they would first use in their classrooms and then get to take home. This year, due to a generous donation from a publisher, we are in the process of distributing 26,000 books to a variety of groups involved in literacy projects throughout the Twin Cities.
