Community Service
NCJW - Greater Minneapolis Section focuses on addressing unmet human and social needs. Many community service programs sponsored by NCJW are intended to advance the well-being of children, youth and families. It is our core belief that we can make a difference through community
service and advocacy. Whatever your skills or interests, we have a variety of exciting opportunities for you to get involved.
Our ongoing projects include Stuff for Kids, Stuff for School, Books for Home, Judaism and Israel: Then and Now, and Jenny Lind School, serving students in elementary and middle school, as well as Rose Rees Peace Awards aimed at high school students, and Furniture Hotline serving new immigrant families. We also continually evaluate new opportunities and implement new programs to meet unmet community needs.
If you are interested in serving on a program committee or volunteering for a community service program, please contact the NCJW office at 952-922-7900.
If you are interested in making a donation to any of our community service programs, please go to GiveMN.org. We are grateful for your support.
