At the Jenny Lind School Tutoring and Mentoring Program in North Minneapolis, NCJW volunteers assist children one-on-one in math or reading on a weekly or biweekly basis. They can also eat lunch with students and help out in the media center. Training is provided and volunteers may join in at any point in the school year.
