NCJW is sponsoring the film, Killing Kasztner, on April 14 at 7:15 p.m. at the 2010 Jewish Film Festival. The film is about Israel Kasztner, a Hungarian Jew who negotiated with the Nazis for the lives of thousands during the Holocaust. The film examines his legacy; is he a hero or a villain? It also provides, for the first time, the perspectives of his daughter and granddaughter. There will be a dessert reception prior to the film at 6:00 p.m., and director Gaylen Ross will lead a discussion after the film.
