The film profiles Ruth Gruber, who defied tradition in an extraordinary career as a foreign correspondent that has spanned almost eight decades. She escorted Holocaust refugees to America, covered the Nuremberg trials, documented the story of the Haganah ship Exodus, and interviewed world leaders including Roosevelt, Truman, and Ben-Gurion. The 73-minute film received Best Documentary honors at the Berkshires International Film Festival and Washington DC Jewish Film Festival.
