Jewish Women’s Morning at the Capitol
NCJW co-hosts an annual advocacy event – Jewish Women’s Morning at the Capitol (JWMC) – with Hadassah to help Jewish women learn and advocate about important legislative issues. The program typically includes an inspirational message from a local leader to put the day’s events into a Jewish context, training on how to effectively deliver present to your state senator/representatives, as well as background information on several key issues.
Turning your Passion into Action
Join Jewish women around the metro area for our annual Jewish Women’s Morning at the Capitol (JWMC) event.
Co-hosted annually with the NCJW-St. Paul Section and the Upper Midwest Region of Hadassah, JWMC provides a briefing on important legislative issues and training on how to effectively present to your state senator and representatives, plus an inspirational sendoff to give the day’s events a Jewish and global perspective. From there, you will gather with other Jewish women in your district and use your newfound knowledge to meet with your local elected officials to discuss the issues.
We hope you will join us for this important event to demystify the advocacy process and inspire you to take an active role in supporting the causes you care about.
