Just in time for Mother's Day 2010, NCJW has created note cards to help you recognize the important women in your life AND do something good for the community at the same time! The cards were created by three generations of the Rees family, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Rose Rees Peace Awards. The cost is $5 per card, with proceeds going to support the Rose Rees Peace Awards and other NCJW community service programs. They will be available in mid April and may be purchased through the office or onsite at the Rose Rees Luncheon (April 28) or Spring Event (May 3).

You may also purchase Tribute cards in any amount ($5 minimum) and designate your support to any of the following funds:

• 21st Century Discretionary Fund : Used in areas of greatest need
• Camperships: Offer financial assistance for first-time campers to attend a Jewish overnight camp
• Sharon Gross Impact Israel Fund : Teaches the culture of Israel to elementary school children
• Elaine Simon Family Issues Fund : Used to promote the well-being of families
• Hymes-Popper-Weiskopf Education Fund : Used to promote a positive learning environment for youth in our community
• Rose Rees Peace Award Fund: Honors high school seniors who show special interest in international affairs
• Lori Kronick Special Fund: Used for community programming and leadership training
• Theresa Berman Leadership Training Fund: Used for leadership training
• Marjorie L. Weiser Communications Fund: Used to enhance communication between NCJW and its members or other constituencies
