HOW TO MAKE A TRIBUTE!

If you imagine NCJW Minneapolis as a fruit bearing tree, it is easy to see why supporting our Grow Toward the Future Fund is a great way to honor the people you know or love. In order to be able to develop, run and evaluate programs and initiatives (the branches and fruit of our tree), NCJW itself must provide the leadership development and infrastructure (the roots and trunk of our tree) necessary to respond to the ever changing needs of women, children and families in our own community and beyond. By supporting NCJW Minneapolis’ Grow Toward Our Future Fund, not only are you supporting the trunk of our tree… you’re supporting a piece of every program we do!

You can make a donation in the name of a family member, colleague, friend, or loved one and help support NCJW’s work here in Minneapolis, across the country and around the world. We offer tribute cards at several giving levels to acknowledge meaningful events and pay tribute to loved ones – offering messages of support, celebration, and sympathy. An NCJW tribute card will be sent to the honoree or the family of the person you wish to remember.

There are three ways to make a tribute: 1) Online: Go to http://givemn.razoo.com/story/Make-A-Tribute. 2) By phone: Call us at 952-922-7900. 3) By mail: Print, complete and mail the attached Tribute Form.

Help us ensure the trunk of our tree is stable, vital and strong – it is the best way to ensure we continue to produce strong branches and the best fruit! Thanks for your support.

PURCHASE NCJW NOTECARDS: In addition, NCJW has created Note Cards that you can purchase and send to important people in your life AND do something good for the community at the same time! The cards were created by three generations of the Rees family, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Rose Rees Peace Awards. The cost is $5 per card, with proceeds going to support the Rose Rees Peace Awards and other NCJW community service programs. They may be purchased through the office or at NCJW events.

DESIGNATE TO A SPECIAL FUND: When you purchase any of our Tribute cards, you may designate your support to any of the following funds:

• NCJW Grow Toward the Future Fund: Supports part of EVERY program NCJW does locally, across the US and in Israel.
• Sharon Gross Israel Fund: Helps fund Israel programming and education to school aged children
• Hymes-Popper-Weiskopf Education Fund : Used to promote a positive learning environment for youth in our community
• Rose Rees Peace Award Fund: Honors high school seniors who show special interest in peace and international affairs
• Lori Kronick Fund: Used for community programming and leadership training
• Theresa Berman Leadership Development Fund: Used for leadership training
• Marjorie L. Weiser Communications Fund: Used to enhance communication between NCJW and its members
